back in the day
or maybe far away
in time and space
there was a place
where there was
a lady of the forrest
she lives in a shed
not more than a few wooden planks
not more than an old decaying shelter
in it a table some candles and a bed
and a lady
who ran away from the city lights
who spend her nights
in the shed fearing the monsters
that roamed outside
and their hauling filled her with fright
but the city from which she ran
was more to fear
so she only came near
when she had to
for shopping food
and important things to do
she walked the forrest by day
trying to get away
from the monsters that lay to prey
the strays from the city
like she was one of them
scared and pretty
the dunes never gave peace
there were all these ghosts
make your hair stand on end
and your feelings a freeze
as they are
the strays that got preyed
by the monsters that stayed
waited for the day
to kill and feast upon
an other stray
the sea was rough
almost always
the fishermen had ample time to fish
they did and do what they can
when the sea is calm and gentle
because when it is high tide
they'd better ran
not far from the dunes and the sea
a forrest with a clearing in the middle
a shelter with candles
and a lady
one night she sat quite forgotten
no one knew she still was there
only the monsters knew and care
she fears the monsters
she hates the fear
she knows she is never alone
the monsters are always near
but there was a thing worse
like a curse
the city
where she once was so pretty
she will never know
what the monsters might show
in the night
when filled with fright
they stay outside
and kill the strays
that come for the lady in the shed
because the city still wants her dead
she does not know
what the monsters do show
she has only fear
when the monsters are near
beyond the forrest and the dunes
there is a village
a small village with a church
where demons roam
and the towns folk moan
for the death of a friend
who cared not for the end
who went for the bounty of the city
and got wasted it was not pretty
their god claimed a life
they believed a promis
that the lady would be his wive
god so told through a demon preacher
the nasty fool the schools teacher
they never knew
what the monsters did do
they blamed the lady
and the beasts
for they believed
she commanded
the man eating feast
the city
they want her dead
they keep it quiet
but put a price on her head
the monsters
they wish nothing more
than her to become
that what she came here for
they swore to protect
they do with all respect
just that and little more
but she is scared
and filled with fear
when the monsters come
too near
ghosts demons and monsters
they are all here
and they are more noble
than the people dictated by fear
they are more polite
than the people who act with fright
they are so hurt
as they are set aside
like the dirt
there lives a lady in a shed
and every one believes she is dead
except for the monsters
those she fears
are the smallest threat
and the fishermen out at sea
they see only the waves
pounding free
at the shores and the small fisher town
when they return they would feel down
as the mighty sea
pounded some more down
on their beloved village
the town with the demons
they still hate the lady
like the city they just act crazy
but with all these insane people just maybe
there willl be few
that love the lady
and the monsters too
the beasts and demons
and the forrest it self
the dunes with the ghosts
and common scence and natural wealth
this is
but a story
nothing seems to be true
this is a story
telling this is all i can do
