Friday, had the first salary in my life! happy!
Today was a lovely day! I had a lot of time to sleep after tired work days. Hiep and
Hai were going to the sososecurity office to change the name of Hai when I still slept,
because Hai now is Denny and he became a citizen of America. Then, Hiep and Minh went to
library to change the CD of firms which couldn't watch in laptop. Those CD I and Hiep took
from library evening yesterday, and the CDs Hiep borrowed was couldn't watching, but mine
could. Hiep and I went to BeginRight at 2pm to ask about our first week salary, and they
gave us the checks and said next time they will mail to us, so we don't need to go to the
office. We was very happy because these were our first salary in our life although they were
not high. Our salary was base $8.80/hour, and we did 10hour/day, and 40hour/week. That means
we had $ 334.40, but after we payed the taxes we had $273.75. They were low but that was good
for us, because we didn't have any resume for jobs in America. After this job, maybe we will
have more chance to find jobs in the future because we had resume now, ha ha. After that, I
asked Hiep to go to Dollar Tree, it always have some thing useful and cheap. In the evening,
Hiep and mother went to car store to check mother's car. Then, They went home for some minute
and continued to go to Cosco supermarket. They came back home late at over 8:30pm, and my
mother was hungry.
