Giving up

Sometimes you think you know what you're feeling,
You think you're fine with any outcome.
Instead you somehow suddenly barerly sleep,
Feel like sh*t and just feel lost.

I knew it'll never be anything,
That had been clear for years.

But if that person tells you he'll prove that he wouldn't hurt me,
That he did change in a good way.
You just keep hoping he will.

But instead you just feel replaced by everyone else,
You'll never have that feeling of "I'm good enough".
Guess I never will.

I have given up on love a long time ago,
Might be time I give up hoping for something too.
