Dat ene telefoontje,
Midden in de nacht,
U was overleden,
Totaal onverwacht,

Dat ene telefoontje,
Gaf bij mij een traan,
U was weg, ik was hier,
Ik moest u laten gaan,

Dat ene telefoontje,
Doet me nog steeds zo'n pijn,
Was u nog maar hier,
Dan had ik bij u kunnen zijn..

Dat ene telefoontje,
Met mijn vragen,
Was ik wel genoeg bij u geweest,
Dan had ik de pijn kunnen dragen,

Mama u was zo sterk,
Maar de kanker ging zo snel,
Ik mis u, ik houd van u,
Goodbye en vaarwel
