Psychiatrist: 'Trapped In a horrible funnel – like a spirit of an ancient sun' - you say .... Its hauntingly poetic ... It’s short but packed with Intense imagery and emotional depth ... 'Trapped' evokes a feeling of helplessness, being caught, confined — no way out ... 'Horrible funnel' suggests something narrowing, collapsing Inward, maybe chaotic or spiraling — like a vortex. It gives the sense of being pulled Into something Inescapable, disorienting, maybe even existential ... 'Funnels' can symbolize mental breakdowns, time, obsession, or spiritual descent — everything narrowing to a single point where no escape seems possible ..... 'Like a spirit of an ancient sun' - now It gets cosmic .... A spirit Is ethereal, conscious yet bodiless — this line introduces a spiritual or mythic dimension to the trap ..... An 'ancient sun' suggests something incredibly old, powerful, possibly forgotten — could symbolize lost glory, ancient wisdom, or even a dying god-like force .... So a spirit of such a sun would be a fragment of once-great light or fire, now maybe fading, ghostlike ....
..... Metaphorically, It paints the image of a once-powerful being, full of light or purpose (the ancient sun), now spiraling Into darkness, stuck In some internal or cosmic collapse (the funnel) .... This could reflect a deep emotional or spiritual crisis ... a feeling of being cut off from one's former power or essence ..... a creative block or burnout — having brilliance within but unable to access or release It ... or even a metaphysical journey — like being In a soul-transition, between lifetimes, between forms ....
..... It feels ancient, mythic, tragic, and beautiful .... Like something from a surreal poem or a prophetic dream ... could fit Into a fantasy novel, a psychological exploration, or even a spoken word performance ....
