this is a story about a girl, so fragile deep within

imagine her - living in a war that she called home
you can read the pain across her face
and even though she doesn't speak, her eyes do
earlier,
her girls reached out for her, gave her a shoulder to lean on
that's all she had, all she believed in
but when you grow older, people change
or maybe she did change, she wasn't sure who,
but it was a fact something changed
she lost faith, believe and herself in so many ways
till she found him and brought her back to herself
he changed her life completely and learned her to
feel love en to be beloved
he told her she wasn't just a girl, but his precious diamond he would care for
she threw herself all into him, his love was her holding on
he was so pure to her, so real
he let her be the girl she wanted to be, without higher expectations
he respected her just for who she was
nobody ever gave her the feeling of being worth something
and he did, without using words he shows her she was worth it
being with him, let her forget everything else in the world
she forgot about the nights she cried, the struggles at home
the pain and the friends who were never real at all
all she depends on was him & her very best ladies who'd never let her down
she couldn't explain him how much she loved him,
she couldn't tell him he made her the happiest girl in the world
and maybe that might have been the reason they ended
when you look at her now, you see the same girl she was a few years ago
the girl she thought of that she has died and wouldn't ever come back
she's afraid to trust, to love - no one compares to him
they don't take the time to know her, they don't take the time to understand her
they're blinded by their ego, thinkin' she's just a girl
the guys she thought she could like, she could love turned out on nothing
cuz every guy she was dating couldn't give her the feeling he gave to her
she fooled herself to believe she could love him out of her life
but she found out she never loved them other guys and
it wasn't necessary to get over him ..
why would she stick with another if her happiness lays in him?
all them other fellas
they thought they were it, but all she saw was nothing but bullshit
and for once in her life, she realized it wasn't her fault that they said she wasn't good enough
it was theirs, because they were born as ASSHOLES or GAY
they couldn't stand a girl with self-respect, or a girl who needs
a lot of improvement to give her heart out of her own hands
