the world has been changing
the people too
most of our friends and alies
have been dorment
still are

now that they found me
it is still the question
is it me they are after
or is it something worse

i know they have been
here for at least a few weeks
hanging round mostly
trying to pick a fight
or trying to test
the defences


there is no need to get in to a fight
they know some of the strength
they know it will only grow
when the fight begins

don't get tempted
do not fight when they draw on you
just ask them to stop
and walk away

some say it is obvious
what they will do next
some say this is the first wave

if my observations are correct
they are few
few in numbers and strength
yet enough strength
to overcome a reaction

call it a recon force
call it boyscouts
they are not fully matured
and harming them
will surely bring shit
upon us

no matter what we do
they will come
but if they are angry
they will not be nice
and the won't come twice

i see the way it works now
i realize something
it is so clear to me
and i can only hope
no one will be tempted

i am the obvious decoy
i am the one they need
so don't try to resque me
when it seems i am
in danger
i am not

never been
not by the hands or work of others
just by my own stupidity
don't react
even when i a screaming for help

when the time is there
there is the smell we know
and the roar we know so well

in summer the big fun begins
the thing they thought would not come again
it's close now
i am almost there

stupid things may happen
clocks running backwards for a second

know that the gates are open
and sometimes there is a flood
