gifts

for all the gifts i gave
little has become of them
taken as memorabillia
rather than a true gift

people seem not to understand
the gifts
they rather put them on the shelf
and ignore the purpose
and yes
gifts have purpose
why give something use less
cause that would only be selfish
that would only be giving yourself praise for remembering to give.

gifts have a purpose
yet many fail to see
to understand the purpose of giving

if i give you flowers
i give them to you because they can brighten your day.
if i give you a picture
it will be because you want to remember me
not because i want to be remembered
if i give you a jewel
it is not because i want to make you more beautyful
it is because i want to bleach the jewel with your beauty
if i give you a spiritual tool
it is not because you are not spiritual
it is because you can use it as you have not yet done.
and ofcourse it is not up to me
what you do with gifts
but then again
a gift is not just my ego praising it self
or sucking up to you !

and i know people will read this
and think, hey you gave me this or that
and call me a fool or what ever,
if that is the case
this is surely not ment for you
and this writing is no gift
it is just spam
not ment for you,

if i gave you my love
would you wear it thin ?
or just discard it like the other gifts ?

i can give you shelter
but if you keep staying outside
it will fall to ruin
and in the end you'll say
what have you done for me lately...

i know i have not been good with recieving
it makes me feel unconfortable
it makes me feel like i have to return the favour
in the way i think is so disrespectful.

recieving is not collecting
it is learning
and well
there is little you can teach me
when you ignore my gifts.

for one whom i still have a gift for, but am short of seeing
for a gift is a thing that needs to be eye to eye
a message for you
still have it here
and i'll give it when i get the chance
