"Happy"
Hearing and seeing all the misery the weather has caused the past fe days, remembers me of the snowstorm of three years ago.. I got stuck in "Utrecht Centraal station" and have been on that station for about 12,5 hours in total.. I still remember all those people looking mad, blaming the NS for the bad connections.
Personally, I held no grudge at all against them.. The roads were all blocked and the whole country was filled with traffic jams.. People should, in my view, have weighed the options. Now that they were stucked in the central station, they could either book a hotel(or at least try that) or sleep in the station along with a lot of others..
Had these people taken the car, they would be forced to sleep in their car.. Alone and with no other options than to try and get out the next day... I don't think that is too much of a better option than getting stuck in the train station...
Yeah.. I am glad that I didn't take the risk this year...
