relaxing
Just been to the grotto as I enjoy spending time there
for contemplation and immersion in nature
from the branches hang white bryony
I cut them back if spread to the river
on the bank Japanese balsam amid the stinging nettles
ivy carpets the bank, it's taken over by ground elder
but gooch grass seems to be winning the day
stickle backs nose around the pebbles
blue tits feed their young
don't take much notice of me
which I like
