ruins
when the light fades and the warm embrace of the dark comes
this is the love no one had for you
the void of being real has turned to stone
and one can call my heart a ruin
but still, it is standing
the castle trampled down by all those who passed by,
those who stayed and wander on in corners far beyond
once this mighty hotel had rooms no one could count
and now the ruins lay to waste
but still in this growning darkness
it still has its light from a fire
even if it is the castle it self burning down
ambers make sure the dark embrace is warm
hidden in the ashes and fueled by a soft breeze
when one walks away it fades in the landscape
of broken dreams and hearts
of fallen angels and twisted desires
scattered metal and fused wires
this was once a great place of joy
but now it is the last reminder
of a little boy
