#299 Robert Frost

In 3 words I can sum up everything I've learned about life
It goes on

"Forgive, Oh Lord, my little jokes on thee
And I'll forgive Thy great big one on me

*

I’d like to get away from earth awhile
And then come back to it and begin over.
May no fate willfully misunderstand me
And half grant what I wish and snatch me away
Not to return. Earth’s the right place for love:
I don’t know where it’s likely to go better.

(Birches)

The world is full of willing people, some willing to work, the rest willing to let them.

The reason why worry kills more people than work is that more people worry than work.

Half the world is composed of those who have something to say but can't; the other half is of those who have nothing to say and keep on saying it.

A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain.

The world has room to make a bear feel free;
The universe seems cramped to you and me.
Man acts more like the poor bear in a cage
That all day fights a nervous inward rage
