the stone
wet and rough
surface of the porrus
while solid and rugged
smooth gently swaying
grinding like the water errodes
and the smell of metal
while in candle light we sit
the wave like motion
the solid nature of the stone
finding peace
in the ever sharpening edge
life is silent
but a stone lives
as it errodes
