non-pretty, huh? why don't kids tease you, then?

i have a theory.

to win over people, one can have should have either of these sets of qualities:

a. unbelievably physically gorgeous, outspoken
b. exceedingly talented at something, manipulative

or, you could just be super-nice, i guess, but who has time for that.
i'm a b. therefore, people leave me alone. if i was an a, on the other hand, people would bother the fuck out of me. so i guess therein lies the difference between b's and a's.

Always time to be super nice. Make others feel good, and makes you feel good too. No times is necessary to be nice, you just... do it : ) I can be a real bitch sometimes but all of us can, we aren't perfect. It is the striving that counts.

oh, totes. nice people can get pretty far, and i try to be as nice as possible myself. i was being facetious therein, but sometimes that doesn't translate well over the internet.
