Dear mom,
You could tell I was devastated last night for not bein in the festival, but it was not only because I was excited, I disappointed my boyfriend. Yes, Jack asked me out and I said yes. This note is to tell you so I don't have to keep this a secret from you. I really like him and he's super responsible and you know I am too. I know 13 is a young age to have a boyfriend, but my sister had her first boyfriend in 8th grade and my brother in freshman. And even you say I am more responsible than my sister. Please allow us to date?
