filthy and ugly
with the looks of an angel
still ugly as hell
the loss of life when living
the loss of faith while praying
the loss of love while kissing
all the love could not save you
death would be a gift
you would recieve it and be unworthy
never to repay your depth
when suffering would be more fitting
i'd rather give you guilt
more and more i would give you honesty and trust
but the more i give
the less you show
the little respect that remains
faints away in the greed and lust
and with eyes open
you just take all that is true
corrupt it with your lies and betrayal
see it as a church

my quest was deepened
but soon it was clear
excapism was in front of me
all along I'd gained your attention
Absorbed by the eyes
by those who were watching me
but I begged you
to look away
all the time I'd accepted your wishings
by grabbing the hands

with the souls flowting around me

they confronted me
with their identities
