Happiness
When you approach things not as functional, but as meaningful, then you actually understand what emotion is. Giving loving emotional meaning to something or someone is not trying to discover how it will benefit you, but how you can appreciate it as an independent meaningful entity on its own and how it sways your inner part and, as a result, how it takes you over. For me, it's the same for specific songs. When you listen to this particular song, do you hear a rhythm, singing, electronic effects, someone rapping? Or do you hear how this song as a whole affects you, how it connects with your heart and enchants you to find your deeper truthful shapelessness and exploit it to do and feel good that goes beyond the word 'good'? Does it make you want to radiate it to and with others? This emotion, this connection, this openness to your own essence, it relates to my happiness.
A few asked me what happiness is for me. I've also asked this question myself. And maybe a large group would not understand what I mean or they would allocate this state to a different term that lacks the brilliance that I am referring to. Happiness for me is a state in which I am overflowed by an intensity of which I am not able to classify it as an already existing term concerning emotion. It's a state in which I do not know whether I should be crying or smiling, laughing or dying. It is pain, sadness, laughter, appreciation and several related terms in one. It's an intensity that fills but may feel too much to handle and in which it finds a higher level of happiness with a discharge in the presence of a very special person.
I've had a few pure moments of happiness, in which a discharge was present. But even without the discharge, a roughly state of happiness would suffice as such. Listening, feeling on certain songs, like this one, evokes this state of happiness in me. It forms into a solid phenomenon that can be interpreted and expressed as me dancing kizomba.
